World of Choices - London ON

March 11, 2020
RBC Place London

JA World of Choices is an event aimed at helping youth in grades 10-12 explore career choices and learn from local career mentors in a round table format career forum. Students interact with career mentors working in desired fields, industries and professions. In small sessions, students understand what it takes to be successful, learn about the training and education required, and gain a glimpse of what a typical day on the job involves.  Each session is allotted time for questions and interactive conversations.

As a result of this JA program, students will leave excited about their future, and better equipped to meet the challenges of today’s working world. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with possible educational futures, while learning about and challenging myths about various careers. They will learn what job opportunities exist right in their community and be inspired by a range of mentors from a variety of industries.

Key Outcomes

Students will:

  • Become empowered to succeed in designing a career path.
  • Learn the tools to better meet challenges of today's work world.
